Genesis 34:7
וּ בְנֵי יַעֲקֹב בָּאוּ מִן הַ שָּׂדֶה כְּ שָׁמְעָם וַ יִּתְעַצְּבוּ הָ אֲנָשִׁים וַ יִּחַר לָהֶם מְאֹד כִּי נְבָלָה עָשָׂה בְ יִשְׂרָאֵל לִ שְׁכַּב אֶת בַּת יַעֲקֹב וְ כֵן לֹא יֵעָשֶׂה
And the builders of Heel have come in from the Field when they heard, and the Mortal-men are paining themselves,1063 and he burned1064 to them exceedingly, for he has made a withered-one1065 in El-Strives, to lie down אֶת-the built-one of Heel, and an upright one is not being made.1066
| 1064 | Hebrew וַיִּֽחַר, masculine singular second person. Exactly the same as found in Gen. 4:5 and 30:2, he burned. See note on Gen. 4:5. Here it is perhaps referring to Hamor (Fermenting-one/He-Ass). |
