Genesis 26:8

וַ יְהִי כִּי אָרְכוּ לֹו שָׁם הַ יָּמִים וַ יַּשְׁקֵף אֲבִימֶלֶךְ מֶלֶךְ פְּלִשְׁתִּים בְּעַד הַ חַלֹּון וַ יַּרְא וְ הִנֵּה יִצְחָק מְצַחֵק אֵת רִבְקָה אִשְׁתֹּו
And he is becoming, for the Days have been long to-himself there, and Father-King king of Philistines is looking down from-the back of the perforation,877 and he is seeing, and behold, He-Laughs is laughing אֶת-Stall-Fed878 his woman.

Why mention only a “window” in this narrative and not a building? Was he looking down from a tower? A house? We are not told. The important thing to know apparently is that he looked down from behind a perforation/hole.
