And Raised-Father and Snorter are taking to-themselves women,⁴⁵¹ a name of a woman of Raised-Father is Noble-Lady,⁴⁵² and a name of a woman of Snorter is Queen,⁴⁵³ built-one of Mountain, father of Queen and father of Beholder.⁴⁵⁴

LITV Translation:
And Abram and Nahor took wives for themselves. The name of Abram's wife was Sarai. And the name of Nahor's wife was Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah, and the father of Iscah.

ESV Translation:
And Abram and Nahor took wives. The name of Abram’s wife was Sarai, and the name of Nahor’s wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran the father of Milcah and Iscah.

Brenton Septuagint Translation:
And Abram and Nahor took to themselves wives, the name of the wife of Abram was Sarai, and the name of the wife of Nahor, Milcah, daughter of Haran, and he was the father of Milcah, the father of Iscah.

Haran (Mountain) is not listed as taking a woman, although he generates Lot.

“Woman” is from the Hebrew אֵֽשֶׁת eshet which is the form used for a taken woman which stands in contrast to ishah which would imply an un-taken or unattached woman. Hence this word has always been translated as wife. This is the first time it appears in the Hebrew Scriptures and it is found 97 times.

Sarai שָׂרַי means “ruler, chief” = noble lady. In the feminine (Strong’s #8297) from sarar (#8323) to have dominion, to bear rule. See note on Genesis 17:15. שָׁרָֽי Sharai is a name found in Ezra 10:40 that comes from #8324 sharar to be hostile.
