| 89 | Greek καὶ ἐπέθηκεν αὐτοῦ. "epechrisen" means "to anoint upon" and is derived from χρίω chrió from which we get Χριστός Christos "Anointed One" (Christ). Here it is connected to a genitive αὐτοῦ "of himself" and thus is means either "of himself" or "from himself." |
