Genesis 8:3
וַ יָּשֻׁבוּ הַ מַּיִם מֵ עַל הָ אָרֶץ הָלֹוךְ וָ שֹׁוב וַ יַּחְסְרוּ הַ מַּיִם מִ קְצֵה חֲמִשִּׁים וּ מְאַת יֹום
And turning back are the Dual-Waters from off the Earth, walking and turning back; and the Dual-Waters are decreasing303 from the extremity304 of a hundred and fifty hot-one.

For example, Genesis 47:21, “as to the people he has removed him to cities from extremity [qatseh] of the border of Egypt and toward extremity [qatseh].” It is from the root qatsah which means to cut off. |
