ו ינחם יהוה כי עשה את ה אדם ב ארץ ו יתעצב אל לבו

And Yahweh is being consoled,²³⁴ for he has made אֶת-the Red-one in the Earth, and he is paining himself²³⁵ toward his heart.²³⁶

234	Strong’s #5162, nacham. To console, comfort, be sorry. In this passage the two instances are in the Niphal reflexive = being sorry, repenting.
