Genesis 35:17
וַ יְהִי בְ הַקְשֹׁתָהּ בְּ לִדְתָּהּ וַ תֹּאמֶר לָהּ הַ מְיַלֶּדֶת אַל תִּירְאִי כִּי גַם זֶה לָךְ בֵּן
And he is becoming in her causing-hardness in her bearing, and she is saying to-herself the One-who-bears,1092 `You are not fearing, for also this one is to-yourself a builder.`
| 1092 | Hebrew הַמְיַלֶּ֙דֶת֙, hamyaledet. With definite article. This means the Bearing-one or she who bears and is interpreted as a midwife. Yet it can also apply to the one who is bearing (בְּלִדְתָּ֑הּ, lidtah) which is Ewe (Rachel). |
