Genesis 32:32
עַל כֵּן לֹא יֹאכְלוּ בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת גִּיד הַ נָּשֶׁה אֲשֶׁר עַל כַּף הַ יָּרֵךְ עַד הַ יֹּום הַ זֶּה כִּי נָגַע בְּ כַף יֶרֶךְ יַעֲקֹב בְּ גִיד הַ נָּשֶׁה
Upon an upright the builders of El-Strives are not eating אֶת-the thread1040 of the Nerve,1041 which is over the palm of the thigh, until the Hot-one of This one, for he has touched in the palm of the thigh of Heel, in the thread of the Nerve.
| 1041 | Strong’s #5384, nashah. With definite article הַנָּשֶׁ֗ה signifies that this is a noun, and specific, rather than a verb (which shrank) as some have interpreted it. It is only found in this verse. |
