Genesis 3:22

וַ יֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶלֹהִים הֵן הָ אָדָם הָיָה כְּ אַחַד מִמֶּנּוּ לָ דַעַת טֹוב וָ רָע וְ עַתָּה פֶּן יִשְׁלַח יָדֹו וְ לָקַח גַּם מֵ עֵץ הַ חַיִּים וְ אָכַל וָ חַי לְ עֹלָם
And Yahweh elohim is saying, `Behold, the Red-one has become as one from ourselves,146 to perceive good one and ruined-one. And now, a corner,146b he is sending forth his hand, and he has taken hold also of the Woods of the Living-ones, and he has eaten, and he has lived to the concealed-one.`147
146b

Strong's #6434 פֵן pen. Masculine form of pinnah meaning, corner. In the feminine פִנָּה pinnah (#6438) it represented the chief or cornerstone (cf. Isa. 19:13, 28:16)  This word was always mistaken for Strong's #6435, פֵן pen, which means lest, removal. So the translation of Genesis 3:22 was forced, and the result was a brutalized, confused reading that made the verse an incomplete thought with an abrupt change to another one in the following verse.
