Genesis 24:65
וַ תֹּאמֶר אֶל הָ עֶבֶד מִי הָ אִישׁ הַ לָּזֶה הַ הֹלֵךְ בַּ שָּׂדֶה לִ קְרָאתֵנוּ וַ יֹּאמֶר הָ עֶבֶד הוּא אֲדֹנִי וַ תִּקַּח הַ צָּעִיף וַ תִּתְכָּס
And she is saying toward the Slave, `Who is the Man of This-one-further?830 The One-who-walks in the Field to meet us?` And the Slave is saying, `Himself is my master.` And she is taking the Veil, and is covering herself.
830 | The unique pronoun hallazeh (#1976) is used here which means this-one yonder. Compound from hallah (#1973) which means out-there, yonder, further. It is only used twice. The other context is when the brothers of Joseph say, Here comes this-one-further dreamer! |
