Genesis 19:6

וַ יֵּצֵא אֲלֵהֶם לֹוט הַ פֶּתְחָה וְ הַ דֶּלֶת סָגַר אַחֲרָיו

And Lot is going out toward them, the Opening-ward, and the Door he has shut his back.662

and the Door has shut behind him. Recall the choice of words in Genesis 2:21, “Yahweh shut up the Flesh underneath” and in Genesis 7:16, “and Yahweh is shutting behind him.” The same meta-narrative is repeating throughout virtually every narrative.
