Genesis 19:32

לְכָה נַשְׁקֶה אֶת אָבִינוּ יַיִן וְ נִשְׁכְּבָה עִמֹּו וּ נְחַיֶּה מֵ אָבִינוּ זָרַע
Walk, let us cause to drink אֶת-our father wine, and lie down686 with him, and we revive687 from our father a seed.`
686

As to sleep, Strong’s #7901, shakab, to lie down [to sleep]. immow (#5973) with him is not the preposition denoting proximity but rather following in manner. The act symbolizes prophetically a sleep of death…and resurrection of the seed (cf. 1 Corinthians 15). Both the transfiguration and resurrection are seen in this story (cf. 1 Thess. 4:15-17). All made possible by none other than wine (the Spirit).
