Genesis 18:22
וַ יִּפְנוּ מִ שָּׁם הָ אֲנָשִׁים וַ יֵּלְכוּ סְדֹמָה וְ אַבְרָהָם עֹודֶנּוּ עֹמֵד לִ פְנֵי יְהוָה
And the Mortal-men are facing651 from there, and they are walking Sodom-ward; and Father-of-Tumult is again-him652 standing to the faces of Yahweh.
| 651 | Strong’s #6437, פָנָה panah. To faces-away (i.e. turn away). There is a difference between facing away and turning away in modern English. This word is relevant to the faces and hence the root of the noun פָנִים (#6440) faces. |
