Matthew 4:4

Ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπε, Γέγραπται, Οὐκ ἐπ᾽ ἄρτῳ μόνῳ ζήσεται ἄνθρωπος, ἀλλ᾽ ἐπὶ παντὶ ῥήματι ἐκπορευομένῳ διὰ στόματος Θεοῦ.

And the one, he who has been separated, said, "It has been written: Not upon a single loaf, will the Man live, but rather upon every saying/spoken word which leads out across from a mouth of God."

But answering, He said, It has been written: "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word going out of the mouth of God." Deut. 8:3

But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
