RBT Translation:
The First....was a Beggar.
Therefore land-neighbors, and those who have looked attentively at himself the First, that he was a beggar, were saying, "Is not this one the one, he who sits down and he who begs?"
LITV Translation:
Then the neighbors and those who formerly saw him, that he was blind, said, Is this one not the one who had sat and begged?
ESV Translation:
The neighbors and those who had seen him before as a beggar were saying, “Is this not the man who used to sit and beg?”
