John 9:15

Πάλιν οὖν ἠρώτων αὐτὸν καὶ οἱ Φαρισαῖοι, πῶς ἀνέβλεψεν. Ὁ δὲ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς, Πηλὸν ἐπέθηκέ μου ἐπὶ τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς, καὶ ἐνιψάμην, καὶ βλέπω.

Again therefore they were questioning himself, even the Separatists, how he 'looked up'. The one then said to themselves, "He placed clay of myself upon the Eyes, and I washed, and I am looking."

Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he saw again. He said to them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and I see.

Then also the Pharisees again asked him how he received sight. And he said to them, He put clay on my eyes, and I washed, and I see.
