John 8:23

Verse

Καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς, Ὑμεῖς ἐκ τῶν κάτω ἐστέ, ἐγὼ ἐκ τῶν ἄνω εἰμί· ὑμεῖς ἐκ τοῦ κόσμου τούτου ἐστέ, ἐγὼ οὐκ εἰμὶ ἐκ τοῦ κόσμου τούτου.

And he was saying to themselves, "Yourselves are from the ones below, I myself am from the ones above. Yourselves are from this one, the world. I myself is not from this one, the world.

And He said to them, You are from below; I am from above. You are from this world; I am not from this world.

He said to them, “You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.
