John 6:31

Οἱ πατέρες ἡμῶν τὸ μάννα ἔφαγον ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ, καθώς ἐστι γεγραμμένον, Ἄρτον ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἔδωκεν αὐτοῖς φαγεῖν.

The Fathers of ourselves ate the 'What-is-it' Manna in the Desolate one, according as it is written, "He gave a loaf from out of the Heavenly One to themselves to eat."
