RBT Hebrew Literal:
Therefore they are leading the Salvation away from the Dell into the Praetorium [Headquarters of Governor]. And he was being early, and themselves did not come into the Praetorium, so that they might not be dyed/colored but might eat the Leap Over.
Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas to the pretorium: and it was early morning; and they came not into the pretorium, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the pascha.
LITV Translation:
Then they led Jesus from Caiaphas into the praetorium, and it was early. And they did not enter into the praetorium that they might not be defiled, but that they might eat the Passover.
ESV Translation:
Then they led Jesus from the house of Caiaphas to the governor’s headquarters. It was early morning. They themselves did not enter the governor’s headquarters, so that they would not be defiled, but could eat the Passover.
