RBT Hebrew Literal:
Therefore, the Salvation no longer tread around with a bold confidence within the Casters, but instead came away from that side into the Land near the desolate one, into her who is called a city of Dual-Fruit ("Ephraim"). There also he remained in company with the Learners.
Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
Jesus then walked no more with freedom of speech among the Jews; but departed thence to the country near the desert, to a city called Ephraim, and there he tarried with his disciples.
LITV Translation:
Then Jesus no longer walked publicly among the Jews, but went away from there into the country near a deserted place , to a city being called Ephraim, and stayed there with His disciples.
ESV Translation:
Jesus therefore no longer walked openly among the Jews, but went from there to the region near the wilderness, to a town called Ephraim, and there he stayed with the disciples.
