Εἶπεν οὖν Θωμᾶς, ὁ λεγόμενος Δίδυμος, τοῖς συμμαθηταῖς, Ἄγωμεν καὶ ἡμεῖς, ἵνα ἀποθάνωμεν μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ.

Therefore Twin ("Thomas"), he who is spoken 'the Double' said to the co-learners, "Let us lead, even ourselves, so that we might die away with himself."

Then said Thomas, called Didymus, to his fellow disciples, Let us also go, that we might die with him.
