Εἰρήκει δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς περὶ τοῦ θανάτου αὐτοῦ· ἐκεῖνοι δὲ ἔδοξαν ὅτι περὶ τῆς κοιμήσεως τοῦ ὕπνου λέγει.

Not RIP Death, That Death
And the Salvation had spoken from around the Death of himself. And that one thought/had opinion that he is speaking from around 'the Rest of the Sleep'.
LITV Translation:
But Jesus had spoken about his death, but they thought that He spoke of the sleep of slumber.
ESV Translation:
Now Jesus had spoken of his death, but they thought that he meant taking rest in sleep.
