RBT Translation:
Salvation reflected in his own Images
Then the Salvation, twisted-around, and looked upon themselves following, he is saying to themselves "What are you searching for?" And those ones answered himself, "My Multiplying one58 whom is being spoken, being translated 'Teacher', the place where you are abiding."LITV Translation:
But having seen them following, Jesus said to them, What do you seek? And they said to Him, Rabbi (which being translated is called Teacher), where do You stay?
But having seen them following, Jesus said to them, What do you seek? And they said to Him, Rabbi (which being translated is called Teacher), where do You stay?
ESV Translation:
Jesus turned and saw them following and said to them, “What are you seeking?” And they said to him, “Rabbi” (which means Teacher), “where are you staying?”
Jesus turned and saw them following and said to them, “What are you seeking?” And they said to him, “Rabbi” (which means Teacher), “where are you staying?”
Footnotes
58 | Strong’s #4461. Rabbi. This is a Hebrew noun in the possessive, my Rab. From rab (#7227) literally "many in number", abundant, much, many. He abounds/multiplies in number. |
