Κἀγὼ οὐκ ᾔδειν αὐτόν· ἀλλ᾽ ἵνα φανερωθῇ τῷ Ἰσραήλ, διὰ τοῦτο ἦλθον ἐγὼ ἐν τῷ ὕδατι βαπτίζων.

RBT Translation:
Even myself,54 I did not perceive himself. But in order that he might be made manifest to the God is Straight (Israel) across to this one, I have come, myself, he who submerges within water.

And I did not know Him; but that He be revealed to Israel, for this reason I came baptizing in water.
