And Abraham started up early in the morning and took bread and a skin of water and gave them to Hagar, putting them on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away. And she left and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba.

So Abraham rose early in the morning and took bread and a skin of water and gave it to Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, along with the child, and sent her away. And she departed and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba.

Strong’s #2573, chemeth. From the word chamam (#2552) to be warm/hot. Rather than construct the word from "wall" i.e. skin and so create dual-waterskin, which makes no sense, we find the word constructed from warm/hot. Recall the note on word-family Ham (Cham) to which this word belongs See note on Genesis 10:1.
