And Jehovah said, Shall I hide from Abraham that which I am doing?

The LORD said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do,

Both verbs in this statement are participles, i.e. noun-verbs. Hebrew הַֽמְכַסֶּ֤ה Him-Covering or the Covering one. This is the participle of kasah (#3680) to cover with a definite article. It is found 9 times with the definite article. The mem מְ also seems to make it a proper noun. This proper noun-definite-participle-verb form is used in Psalm 147:8 especially,

“The One-Covering [hamkaseh] dual-heavens in thick-darkness, the Preparer [hammekin] of rain to the Earth, the Grower [hammatsmiyach]of grass of mountains.” Psalm 147:8 literal
