Revelation 3:20

Ἰδού, ἕστηκα ἐπὶ τὴν θύραν καὶ κρούω· ἐάν τις ἀκούσῃ τῆς φωνῆς μου, καὶ ἀνοίξῃ τὴν θύραν, καὶ εἰσελεύσομαι πρὸς αὐτόν, καὶ δειπνήσω μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ, καὶ αὐτὸς μετ᾽ ἐμοῦ.

ἕστηκα - I have been standing!

Behold! I have stood against the Door and I am knocking!^9b If anyone should hear the Voice of myself and open the Door, I also will come in toward himself, and will dine in company with himself and himself in company with myself!

Behold, I stand before the door, and knock: and if any hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock: If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will enter to him, and I will dine with him, and he with Me.

The perfect tense in Greek indicates a completed action with a continuing state, which in English can be tricky to translate since there is often no sharp distinction between the present indicative and the perfect indicative when expressing a state.

Thus, ἕστηκα literally means:

"I have stood" (focusing on the completed action with present effect),
or in English, "I stand" (emphasizing the present result of having stood, vs. I am standing),
or more fully, "I have been standing" (which conveys the idea of a completed action with an ongoing present state).
