Τίς γὰρ μείζων, ὁ ἀνακείμενος ἢ ὁ διακονῶν; Οὐχὶ ὁ ἀνακείμενος; Ἐγὼ δέ εἰμι ἐν μέσῳ ὑμῶν ὡς ὁ διακονῶν.

For who is more mega, the one who is laid up, or the one who is ministering? Is it not the one who is laid up? And I, myself am within the middle of yourselves, just like the one who is ministering!

Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
For which the greater, he reclining, or he serving? is not he reclining and I am in the midst of you as he serving.

LITV Translation:
For who is greater, the one serving, or the one reclining? Is it not the one reclining? But I am in your midst as One serving.

ESV Translation:
For who is the greater, one who reclines at table or one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at table? But I am among you as the one who serves.
