Οἱ δὲ συνελογίσαντο πρὸς ἑαυτούς, λέγοντες ὅτι Ἐὰν εἴπωμεν, Ἐξ οὐρανοῦ, ἐρεῖ, Διὰ τί οὐκ ἐπιστεύσατε αὐτῷ;

And the ones gathered their thoughts together toward their own selves, those who are saying that If we should speak from out of a heavenly one, he will say For what reason did you not trust himself.

And they reckoned up together to themselves, saying, That if we say, of heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him?

LITV Translation:
And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we say, From Heaven, he will say, Then why did you not believe him?

ESV Translation:
And they discussed it with one another, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say, ‘Why did you not believe him?’
