RBT Hebrew Literal:
συλλαμβάνω - apprehend, seize, gather in
And when eight days of the Cutting Around himself were filled complete, and the Name of himself was summoned Salvation, the one which was summoned by the Angel in front of the Seizing Together of himself within the Womb.5
Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
And when eight days were completed for circumcising the child and his name was called JESUS, called by the messenger before he was conceived in the womb.
LITV Translation:
And when eight days were fulfilled to circumcise the child His name was called Jesus, the name called by the angel before He was conceived in the womb.
ESV Translation:
And at the end of eight days, when he was circumcised, he was called Jesus, the name given by the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

The verb συλλαμβάνω, primarily means "to seize, gather, arrest, apprehend, or rally troops." Idiomatically, it might be used to mean "comprehend" or specially as a metaphor to describe conception, as the womb was thought to "enclose" or "seize" the fertilizing seed (Arist. HA 582a19, GA 727b8; Hipp. Aph. 5.46).

However, the more standard Greek term for "to conceive" was κύω, with its derivatives κύησις (pregnancy/conception) and κυοφορέω (to be pregnant), but not used in the NT.
