Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
And the word will be good in the eves of the sons of Israel; and the sons of Israel will bless God, and they said not to go up against them to war to destroy the land which the sons of Reuben and the sons of Gad dwelt in it. 34And the sons of Reuben and the sons of Gad will call to the altar: for it is a witness between us that Jehovah is their God.
LITV Translation:
And the thing was good in the eyes of the sons of Israel, and the sons of Israel blessed God and no more said to go up against them to war, to destroy the land which the sons of Reuben and the sons of Gad were living in.
ESV Translation:
And the report was good in the eyes of the people of Israel. And the people of Israel blessed God and spoke no more of making war against them to destroy the land where the people of Reuben and the people of Gad were settled.
Brenton Septuagint Translation:
And it pleased the children of Israel; and they spoke to the children of Israel, and blessed the God of the children of Israel, and told them to go up no more to war against the others to destroy the land of the children of Reuben, and the children of Gad, and the half tribe of Manasseh: so they dwelt upon it.
