Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
And they will bend their tongue, their bow, a lie: and they were not strong for faithfulness upon the land; for from evil to evil they went forth, and they knew me not, says Jehovah.
LITV Translation:
And they bend their tongues, their bow is a lie. And they are not mighty for the truth on the earth, for they go from evil to evil. They also do not know Me, says Jehovah.
ESV Translation:
They bend their tongue like a bow; falsehood and not truth has grown strong in the land; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they do not know me, declares the LORD.
Brenton Septuagint Translation:
Beware ye each of his neighbor, and trust ye not in your brethren: for everyone will surely supplant, and every friend will walk craftily.
