Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
If a man shall be found stealing a soul from his brethren from the sons of Israel, and shall lay hands upon him and sell him; and that thief died; and put thou away evil from the midst of thee.
LITV Translation:
If a man is found stealing a person of his brothers of the sons of Israel, and has dealt with him as a slave, and sold him, then that thief shall die. And you shall put away the evil from among you.
ESV Translation:
“If a man is found stealing one of his brothers of the people of Israel, and if he treats him as a slave or sells him, then that thief shall die. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.
Brenton Septuagint Translation:
And if a man should be caught stealing one of his brethren of the children of Israel, and having overcome him he should sell him, that thief shall die; so shalt thou remove that evil one from yourselves.
