Acts 28:3

Συστρέψαντος δὲ τοῦ Παύλου φρυγάνων πλῆθος, καὶ ἐπιθέντος ἐπὶ τὴν πυράν, ἔχιδνα ἐκ τῆς θέρμης διεξελθοῦσα καθῆψε τῆς χειρὸς αὐτοῦ.

And Paul having collected together a multitude of dried sticks, and placed upon the pile of wood, a viper, having come forth out of the heat, seized his hand.

And Paul gathering a bunch of sticks, and putting them on the fire, a snake coming out from the heat fastened on his hand.

ESV Translation:
